The digitally native Saudi Arabia airline, Riyadh Air has announced a strategic collaboration with Artefact, the global player in data and AI transformation services. This collaboration is focused on bringing advanced AI and cloud technologies to Riyadh Air’s operations and guest experiences.

The focus is towards developing Riyadh Air’s data analytics platform and crafting AI solutions that are tailored to the airline’s key business areas. The focus is towards providing a hyper-personalised guest experience, optimising flight and ground operations with real-time insights, and expanding the offerings beyond traditional air travel services.

Abe Dev, Riyadh Air’s Vice President of Digital and Innovation, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, emphasizing the airline’s commitment to utilizing state-of-the-art technology to improve every aspect of the passenger journey.

Riyadh Air is set to begin operations in 2025 and aims to redefine the future of air travel. The airline aims to connect the kingdom with over 100 destinations and is in line with the Saudi National Aviation Strategy and National Tourism Strategy Goals of targeting over 330 million annual visitors by 2030.

Rahul Arya, CEO and Managing Partner of Artefact MENA, also commented on the partnership, highlighting the opportunity to apply AI solutions specifically designed for the aviation sector’s challenges.
