Cisco and Intertec Systems hosted a joint event to highlight the importance of digitisation in the Internet of Things era.
Held at the Waldorf Astoria in Ras Al Khaimah, technology experts and senior executives from both companies provided insights and the key benefits on Cisco’s data centre, application and collaboration solutions. The event was attended by RAK-based government, semi-government and private sector customer from multiple industries.
“The main challenge that organisations face in this technology era is the management of multiple devices and different skill sets. We hosted this seminar to address the challenges faced by government and semi-government organisations in their day to day operations,” said Koshy Oommen, director of infrastructure and security at Intertec Systems.
The event also included a signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah and Cisco Systems, which establishes a working relationship in the areas of education, commerce, healthcare and electronic government. This reflects the emirate’s commitment to enhancing its services to all Ras Al Khaimah residents and to provide better services to both the government and private sectors in the emirate.
