Here are 5 things you can look forward to at AWS re:Invent 2022:

Hear from AWS leaders

Adam Selipsky, CEO, AWS

AWS leaders will host keynotes focused on the latest product launches and will share customer success stories.

The cloud giant’s CEO Adam Selipsky will spotlight forward-thinking builders that are leveraging AWS to transform industries. He will also highlight how the firm’s innovations in data, infrastructure, applications and more are helping customers achieve their goals faster.

In addition to Selipsky, other Amazon and AWS leaders will also deliver keynotes including Amazon CTO Dr Werner Vogels, Senior Vice President of AWS Utility Computing Peter DeSantis, Vice President of AWS Worldwide Channels and Alliances Ruba Borno, and Vice President of AWS Database, Analytics, and Machine Learning Swami Sivasubramania.

Learn from AWS experts

AWS re:Invent at its core is a learning event. It will offer builder labs, bootcamps, gamified learning, and hundreds of technical sessions. Attendees will get a chance to get in-depth knowledge on new technologies and hone their skills alongside their cloud-community peers.

Fun and interactive events

AWS re:Invent will offer four gamified learning opportunities: AWS GameDay, AWS GameDay Quest Fest, AWS Jam, and AWS Jam Lounge.

These features will enable attendees to explore demos and participate in collaborative learning exercises that test skills in implementing AWS solutions to solve real-world problems.

AWS will also host a showcase for sustainability, which highlights how technology is being used to address challenges like water conservation and decarbonising operations.

Network and engage with peers

This year, AWS re:Invent introduced a new feature called PeerTalk, a new networking programme designed to help facilitate meaningful connections among the re:Invent community.

re:Invent attendees can access the PeerTalk platform through the main AWS Events re:Invent mobile app to view suggested connections. They can then chat with one another or request in-person meetings of 2–4 people in AWS PeerTalk Lounges located across the campus.
