Oman and KSA tech entities sign MOUs for joint ventures

These agreements come within the framework of a visit by a Saudi delegation, headed by Abdullah Amer al Swaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology to Oman.

Oman and KSA tech companies signs MOUs and joint venture partnerships

During the visit of the Saudi delegation, to Oman recently, several entities from both countries signed a number of agreements and MOUs (Memorandum of Understandings) to develop joint ventures in the area of technology and ICT in Oman.

The first agreement was signed between Oman ITHCA Group and KSA THIQAH Company, to enhance cooperation between the two countries for implementation of a product conformity, standardisation and legal calibration system. The agreement was signed by Said Abdullah al Mandhari, CEO of ITHCA Group and Ayman Abdullah al Fallaj, CEO of THIQAH.

Al Fallaj also signed an MOU with Oman based Rihal to develop and implement projects in the realm of e-services and IT.

Oman’s Osos and Saudi Arabia’s Cloud Solutions signed an MOU on mutual marketing of their respective cloud technology solutions. The MOU was signed by Zahir al Busaidi, Osos Board of Directors member and Abdullah al Mayman, CEO of Cloud Solutions.

Finally Oman’s TmDone and Saudi Arabia’s Jahez signed an MOU to study and evaluate means of cooperation in the field of delivery services.
