GlobalCerts ramps up EMEA reseller network

Secure messaging solutions vendor GlobalCerts has accelerated the expansion of its reseller network across EMEA, signing up more than 20 VARs to boost its regional sales and support coverage.

Secure messaging solutions vendor GlobalCerts has accelerated the expansion of its reseller network across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), signing up more than 20 value-added resellers (VARs) to boost its regional sales and support coverage.

“We have seen a 350% increase in revenue from the EMEA region in the last nine months,” stated Roland Gerard, CEO at GlobalCerts. “In order to comply with the e-invoicing and the data protection laws in Europe the need for secure methods for email delivery is apparent and well understood by managing directors. Also, the HIPAA, GLBA and Sarbanes-Oxley Act in the US demand secure intercontinental e-mail communications as well.”

“I am pleased to announce that we now have an extensive network of VARs spanning from St. Petersburg to Dubai in order to support our customers and continue our exponential growth,” he added.

GlobalCerts signed an agreement with Dubai-based Fusion Distribution in December 2004 to distribute its email encryption products in the Middle East. “The Middle East is an important region within the global economy. This relationship enables us to expand our reach into this market, and enhances our ability to provide digital certificate management services on an even wider global basis,” stated Gerard.

GlobalCerts also has a series of technology alliances with leading vendors including Clearswift, SurfControl, Sophos and Vircom to provide customers with powerful policy-based secure e-mail solutions that are both transparent and standards-compliant.

“Solutions such as GlobalCerts SecureMail Gateway help us to deliver solutions that are simple and force compliance with e-mail encryption policies,” explained Alyn Hockey, CTO at Clearswift.
