SquareOne slashes printing expenses with launch of ‘FollowMe’ programme

SquareOne technologies will be using this year’s edition of GITEX Technology Week to launch its FollowMe service, which allows customers to reduce printing and copying costs by tracking and auditing printing throughout the enterprise.

The firm will also use the occasion to promote its new software-as-a-service (SaaS), which is powered by search giants Google Apps and Google Message Security.

“GITEX is the best IT exhibition in the region and a great forum to meet customers and partners. It is a place where SquareOne can exchange the latest technology updates with our corporate customers and strengthen our brand in the market place,” says Director Ghassan Surkhi.

The firm’s operations span the GCC with offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Riyadh, and a new office opening soon in Qatar. SquareOne also intends to eventually expand into the Levant and the wider GCC through its channel partners, although Surkhi says the Middle East is the company’s primary market.

The firm’s core products and services are built around unified communication, application delivery, virtualisation and information security.

“At SquareOne we provide these solutions centered on the principles of excellence, service, and quality. SquareOne Technologies delivers customer satisfaction through technical competence, the highest echelon of partnerships and the professional integrity of all employees. Because of our specialised knowledge and experience in these, we can offer customers a trusted relationship with the highest level of personalised service in the industry,” claims Surkhi.

SquareOne will be exhibiting a range of products and services at the show, including OpenText Fax Server (RightFax) and solutions from industry names such as Neverfail, Microsoft, Google, Sophos, Dialogic, Citrix, and Thinprint. OpenText Fax Server users will also benefit from training courses which will be promoted at the show.

“We hope to meet more potential customers and provide them with the best solutions in the market; we are also aiming to introduce new technology and services during GITEX. A SaaS practice will be one of the main focus areas and we are hoping it will attract a lot of customers to visit our stand to discover this new revolution in the software business,” concludes Surkhi.
