Infrastructure provider Huawei Technologieshas announced it haswon a GSM contract to expand the core network of Colombia’s third largest mobile operator Colombia Movil.
Huawei will extend the capacity of Colombia Movil’s core network to over one million subscribers.
The deal is a significant one for Huawei giving the firm its largest mobile software switch network in Latin America.
