Making a great year better

The telecommunications team at 3M Gulf is looking to continue its great start to 2007 by heading to GULFCOMMS to highlight its range of scalable solutions for the telecommunications sector.

“We’ve enjoyed a phenomenal year so far,” says the company’s country business leader, Ramzi Nassif. “One reason of course is because the market is booming here, being driven mostly by the construction boom, but the second is the total solutions we offer. These are well positioned, our brand is strong and our solutions are well priced. All of which means we’re growing ahead of our 2007 targets right now.”

The company is a leading supplier of fibre and copper connectivity solutions and also offers a range of management and diagnostic solutions, supplying organisations such as the region’s telecoms service providers.

“We have all of the main service providers, from Du and Etisalat to STC, at present, plus a large number of network players,” Nassif goes on to claim.

3M Gulf has been appearing at GITEX Technology Week for several years; but in the past its presence was a combined one, with its telecommunications and visuals divisions sharing stand space. “Last year our telecommunications arm was located at the DIC Pavilion, and now this will be our first time at GULFCOMMS,” Nassif states.

“We don’t have the luxury of doing major roadshows around the region, so with this exhibition, like ourselves, based in Dubai, it’s a real opportunity to capture the market’s key players all at once,” he continues.
