Building cyber workforce resilience through continuous exercising

ITP.net, in association with Immersive Labs, is hosting a webinar titled, ‘Building Cyber Workforce Resilience Through Continuous Exercising’

Building cyber workforce resilience through training

In a world where cyber threat is common, cyber resilience plays an important role. The tasks before, during, and after the danger are covered by cyber resilience. It begins with attempting to steer clear of online dangers. Second, if the threat enters the system, it resists it and makes an effort to minimise the harm. Finally, it provides a quick recovery following an attack. Cyber resilience is a must for any business in the present world when data breaches are becoming more serious and frequent.

While cybersecurity and cyber resilience share many topics, there is a significant distinction between the two. The goal of cybersecurity is to lessen network vulnerability and avoid data breaches. Cyber resilience, however, also includes the actions taken following a cyberattack. At this point, they split apart. But they are complementary to one another. When organisations are expected to prove key cybersecurity dependencies, Cyber Workforce Resilience evidences resilience and confidence in decision-making.

In order to build Cyber Resilience across the workforce, organisations must adopt continuous exercising as a critical tool in their cybersecurity arsenal. Whether for practicing documented procedures and playbooks, or for stress-testing the adaptability of their crisis response across various scenarios and constraints, exercising develops the muscle memory that is essential to assure adequate preparedness in the face of impending cybersecurity compromise.

ITP.net, in association with Immersive Labs, is hosting a webinar titled, ‘Building Cyber Workforce Resilience Through Continuous Exercising on the 23rd of November, 2022.

The webinar will demonstrate a scenario which will place participants in the Crisis Management function of an organisation that is being faced with an immediate cyber threat. Decisions taken will influence the progression of the scenario and bring users face to face with the difficulties of balancing security, risk and relationships with the supply chain.

The session will also highlight the capabilities of the Immersive Labs platform and how it enables a continuous exercising programme. The presented scenario will also walk users through a variety of practical considerations that may very well be faced in a real environment, when responding to a cyber crisis.
