Abu Dhabi-based cybersecurity company OryxLabs has been acquired by the UAE defense conglomerate EDGE Group.
OryxLabs specialises in providing cybersecurity solutions to protect clients from emerging cyber threats. Their expertise lies in advanced research, engineering, and innovation.
This strategic acquisition enables EDGE Group to broaden its portfolio and address critical challenges in cybersecurity, both locally and internationally.
Mansour AlMulla, the Managing Director and CEO of EDGE, emphasised the importance of enhancing capabilities and expanding offerings in line with the group’s rapid growth and emphasis on creating sovereign capabilities.

OryxLabs currently offers three proprietary solutions: Vulncano, which identifies malicious actors and vulnerabilities within an organization’s environment; Discovery, a platform for monitoring external attack surfaces; and DNS Firewall, which ensures that endpoint devices within an organization’s network do not access malicious websites through monitoring outgoing DNS traffic.
Established in 2020, OryxLabs focuses on scalability, innovation, and engineering to effectively address cybersecurity concerns.
