Saudi launches new Tawakkalna Services app to provide more than 140 government services

The Tawakkalna app that exists already will only provide Covid-19 related services

Saudi Arabia has launched the Tawakkalna Services app to provide more than 140 services to those in the kingdom from one centralised place, local media reported.

The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) launched the new app that will assist with passports, the digital wallet approved by government agencies that contains the identity and personal cards, reviewing driving licenses, insurance, deeds and agencies.

It also includes the donating service by Ehsan platform, information correction, Tawakkalna code, certify mobile number, and many more.

The Tawakkalna app that exists already will only provide Covid-19 related services. The Tawakkalna app will hold information regarding health status, health passport, PCR tests, vaccine services, health travel requirements, and management of necessary permits during transportation operations.

Separately, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) has issued two digital cards for people with autism and other disabilities to benefit from its digital services.

The two cards, “Digital Autism” (for people with autism) and “Digital Erkab” (for people with disabilities), are available for download with the Ministry’s mobile app.

The “Digital Autism” card will help identify the beneficiaries and facilitate their movement in public places. It will also provide them access to priority services when visiting hospitals, healthcare centers and other public facilities.

The “Digital Erkab” card for people with disabilities, also available at the MHRSD app, will make them and their escorts eligible for concessions in ticket fares and travel fees while using public transportation. Depending on the nature and degree of their disability, they may avail of 50 percent deduction in fees and fares.
