According to the Ministry, this landmark move marks a significant contribution to the nation’s ongoing digitalisation journey, as it strives to eliminate cumbersome paper transactions.
The UAE Pass is the nation’s premier digital identity solution, catering to citizens, residents, and visitors alike. By leveraging this cutting-edge technology, users gain seamless access to a wide array of local and federal government services, as well as other service providers, with utmost security, confidentiality, and data accuracy.
To partake in this transformative experience, users can simply download the UAEPass smartphone application from the Apple Store or the Google Play Store. The streamlined onboarding process guides users through setting up their digital identity account with ease. By scanning their Emirates ID, verifying the data, and establishing a secure PIN, users can swiftly activate their accounts. To ensure an added layer of protection, the process also includes facial recognition verification.
With the UAE Pass up and running, users bid farewell to the age-old hassle of managing multiple usernames and passwords. This trailblazing solution empowers individuals to access services via the smartphone app efficiently, digitally sign documents, and verify data accuracy, all without the need to visit physical service centers.
