Revealed: Dubai RTA’s nol pay app debuts new look and features

The revamped nol Pay app introduces four innovative features to ensure seamless transportation experiences

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has unveiled the newly updated nol Pay app, which serves as the official payment platform for residents and tourists, offering seamless and simplified transportation experiences.

The revamped nol Pay app introduces four innovative features to ensure the convenience of its users. One of the standout features is the instant balance top-up, which gives users the ability to instantly top-up the balance at anytime, anywhere, and across all platforms. This empowers users to effortlessly recharge their nol cards directly through the app, making travel payments a breeze.

Furthermore, the app facilitates the application and renewal process for personalised nol cards. Users can now seamlessly link their RTA and digital ID accounts, streamlining the procedure for obtaining or extending their nol cards.

To ensure a user-friendly experience, the registration process for unidentified nol cards has been simplified. Users can conveniently log in using their digital ID accounts, and the app provides real-time application status tracking and notifications, allowing users to stay informed about the progress of their application.

Thanks to these improvements, customers no longer need to manually input their data, significantly reducing the time and effort required for the application process. Additionally, the app allows for the linking and management of all customer cards within their accounts on the platform.

Compatibility is a key aspect of the nol Pay app, as it operates seamlessly on all devices equipped with Near Field Communication (NFC) technology. This includes Android, Apple, and Huawei digital platforms, ensuring a broad user base can access its features with ease.

The nol smart prepaid card is available in four distinct types: for adults, students, senior citizens, and people with determination. This versatile card allows users to conveniently pay for the fares of various transport modes offered by the RTA, including the metro, tram, and buses. Moreover, it can be utilised for taxi rides, marine transport, public parking, visiting tourist attractions, and even shopping.

With these latest advancements, the nol Pay app is set to elevate transportation payment services in Dubai, providing a seamless and efficient experience for residents and visitors alike.
