SOPHOS is placing the spotlight on its Sophos Cloud and Project Galileo offerings at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK, in addition to promoting its range of security solutions. According to the security vendor, Sophos Cloud is the only integrated security solution for Windows, Mac and mobile devices to offer comprehensive protection without complexity and a simple user experience.

Project Galileo, meanwhile, bridges the communication gap between Sophos’ endpoint technology, server protection and network security products to provide visibility and control through a single, cloud-based security management console. The integration points can enable the products to better identify threats and provide complete protection.

“Sophos’ strategy over the last few years has been to make security simple for our customers, where we take the complex ideas in security and deliver them in a set of products that are simple, easy to use and easy to deploy. We are also the only vendor globally to build a single integrated cloud based management platform called Sophos Cloud to drive our entire portfolio,” says Thomas Thoelke, Sales Director NEEMEA, Sophos.

Sophos is also showcasing the latest version of its SG Series — its new generation of network security appliances — at GITEX this week. Along with this, the vendor is promoting its range of network protection solutions, including Enduser Protection Suites, Mobile Control, Endpoint Antivirus, and SafeGuard Encryption.
