Mercedes-Benz F 015 has made its regional debut at GITEX Technology Week. The futuristic car is being demonstrated at Etisalat stand (Z-A1), Za’abeel hall.

One core theme of the innovative interior concept is a continuous exchange of information between vehicle, passengers and the outside world.  Klaus Millerferli, Manager – Research Cars at Mercedes-Benz says: “This is our vision of autonomous driving in the future.” The idea of the car goes beyond technology to explore an integrated lifestyle solution around it. The car comes with both manual and autonomous driving systems.  It has a length of 5,220 mm in length, similar to the S-class; however it has a wheel base of 3,610 mm which is more than that of the Maybach. Electric powered concept allows creating a very roomy, comfortable space inside the car.

“Anyone who focuses solely on the technology has not yet grasped how autonomous driving will change our society,” according to Dr Dieter Zetsche, Chairman of the Board of Management of Daimler AG and Head of Mercedes-Benz Cars. “The car is growing beyond its role as a mere means of transport and will ultimately become a mobile living space.”
