Apple produced its first budget model, the iPhone 5C, in a bid to leave its premium-only strategy behind.

The 5C is a fresh build and Apple is stressing the colour range, strong frame and premium feature set as the company prepares to hit sub-premium markets.

Apple CEO Tim Cook unveiled the high-end iPhone 5s, which adds a range of new tech.
