Five GITEX veterans you can’t afford to miss

Here are some of the GITEX veterans to look forward to this year at the GITEX Global 2022.

The biggest, most diverse technology event in the world, GITEX Global, introduces a host of tech-powered revolutions and forward-thinking ideas. With more than 4500 participating companies and 100,000 plus guests, it can be overwhelming on where to start.

Every year as new companies join the trade show, a lot of eyes fall on them to see what they are showcasing and how they put innovation in the forefront. But as more years pass by, companies that have been participating for a long time continue to put forth their best foot forward to have a bigger and better impact than the year before. Here are some of the GITEX veterans to look forward to this year at the GITEX Global 2022.

CISCO

Cisco is one among those companies that has been participating at GITEX since its inception. This year, the company will showcase its latest suite of innovations to ‘Power an Inclusive and Sustainable Future’, designed to accelerate customers’ digital transformation agendas, while focusing on the sustainability vision of the region. Under its ‘Bridge to Possible’ theme, Cisco will illustrate the importance of secure connectivity and automation in powering a future that is digital and green.

As hybrid work flourishes; at GITEX, Cisco will showcase how technology lets people securely connect, collaborate, and innovate from anywhere. Over the past 12 months, Cisco has added more than 1,000 new innovations and features to its collaboration technology platform, Webex – intensely improving the hybrid work experience. These include innovations across AI, Machine Learning and more.

At GITEX, Cisco is also expected to unveil its new strategic vision of a unified platform for end-to-end security across hybrid multi-cloud environments with Cisco Security Cloud – the open security platform with no public cloud lock-in.

DELL TECHNOLOGIES

Dell Technologies have been participating in GITEX for more than 15 years, and this year, they will highlight new growth opportunities for regional businesses with infrastructure solutions comprising multi-cloud, digital workplace, data, security and finance solutions. The offerings are part of the company’s strategy to deliver fully integrated technologies that can support businesses accelerate their transformation journey and build resilience and agility through IT simplicity, digital innovation and more. The company will also showcase uses of Quantum Computing and the rapidly evolving world of the metaverse.

This year, in addition to Infrastructure Solutions Group segment, the company will also showcase its Client Solutions Group offerings. These include, and are not limited to, hardware such as desktop PCs, monitors and peripherals, rugged products, and software including end-point security. The flagship Alienware gaming products with activations can also be expected to be showcased at the show.

In a time when telecommunication and healthcare sectors are gaining popularity, Dell Technologies plans to highlight solutions for these verticals. For healthcare, the company is reimagining patient care delivery, with a patient first, data-anywhere focus – where secure, modern health IT solutions enable a more connected workforce providing personalised care to patients wherever they might be.

Some of the showcases will dive into the realm of digital twin opportunities and the world’s most sustainable, smart cities. It is aimed to advance a sustained digital transformation journey for industries to benefit from rapid innovations in sectors and reach greater prosperity.

Participating under the theme, “Unleash Digital”, Huawei’s participation underlines the company’s efforts to bring technological advances to industries and create new value by helping governments and enterprises go digital while operating more intelligently and achieving sustainability.

This year, Huawei is the Diamond sponsor of GITEX Global 2022. The company will be introducing its end-to-end products, solutions and advanced ICT technologies focusing on 5.5G, cloud, AI, digital power, cybersecurity, and industry applications designed to meet the needs of various industry scenarios and sectors such as government, utilities, oil and gas, transportation, finance & address government national digital transformation goals.

ORACLE

Having been participating in GITEX since its inception, this year, Oracle will showcase the impact and application of its latest cloud innovations to help boost UAE’s digital economy across key industry verticals, with engaging demonstrations and immersive experiences.

The spotlight this year is on the impact and application of innovations. The company aims to demonstrate how they can help the UAE digital economy to thrive across industries including in retail, financial services, logistics, healthcare and more. Visitors will be able to visualise this digital world and how the future is going to look.

Oracle’s stand will feature a completely redesigned exhibition area with specially designed interactive pods including an Oracle Red Bull Racing experience. Visitors at GITEX will be able to experience what it’s like to sit behind the wheel of one of the fastest Formula 1 cars and understand how real time data powered by Oracle Cloud helps give drivers Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez peak performance.
